Our Continual Story

From The Class Room
to Fix The Class Room

Continual's origin story traces back to a classroom project aimed at providing high school students with comprehensive sexual health education. Though the project never materialized, the founder, Katy Arons, and her peers recognized a significant gap in the market—a lack of digital platforms tailored to their needs. Disappointed by the absence of solutions, particularly concerning consent, the founder identified a key flaw: existing apps treated consent as a one-time checkbox, ignoring its ongoing nature. Determined to address this oversight and provide a platform centered on continual consent, Continual was born.

Motivated and Educated

Motivated by a deep commitment to equipping individuals with accurate information and resources, Continual emerged from the belief that everyone, regardless of age or background, deserves access to comprehensive sexual health education. Acknowledging the profound impact of inadequate sex education, especially among adults lacking proper guidance, Continual seized the opportunity to bridge this gap and empower users with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate intimate relationships responsibly.

Recognize to Thrive

Recognizing a pressing need for a solution catering to the diverse needs of users in navigating relationships, Arons embarked on the creation of Continual. Drawing inspiration from the collective experiences of peers, Continual was crafted with features designed to support connection, intimacy, and open communication. Grounded in principles of inclusivity, transparency, and empowerment, Continual embodies the founder's commitment to fostering healthy relationships in the digital age, setting new standards for healthy interactions and meaningful connections under their visionary guidance.
